About

I've always liked understanding how complex systems work. As a kid I built remote control planes. Today it's software that moves real money, real devices, and real patient data.

Most of my career has been in FinTech. At Enfusion, acquired by Clearwater Analytics, I went from junior engineer to Vice President in 3.5 years, working on portfolio management, portfolio construction, and general ledger accounting for institutional clients. Since then I've extended into smart home IoT at Intecular and telemedicine at meds.com.

My work sits at the intersection of low-latency, distributed, and event-driven systems: Java and the JVM on the backend, React and Angular on the front, GCP and AWS underneath. The constraints I like are the unglamorous ones. Auditability, regulatory requirements, sub-second response times, and staying correct under load.

I also mentor engineers, improve development process, and care about systems that stay maintainable as they grow.

I think good systems are a lot like good tiramisu. The individual layers matter, but what really matters is how everything comes together.
